2019: We Need To Fix Wastage In Governance – Durotoye

Fela Durotoye The presidential candidate of the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), Mr Fela Durotoye, says he will work to curb what he describes as wastage in governance if elected president in 2019. He stated this during his appearance on Channels Television’s Sunday Politics, less than four months to the election. “We’ve got to fix the wastage that is in governance. We will collapse the wastage that is in governance alone which is within the power of the Presidency,” he said. According to Durotoye, the nation is faced with myriads of challenges which he hopes to address if he becomes president next year. One of which, he stated, is to fix the ‘rot’ in the nation’s judicial system and orientate the citizens on their mindset to national issues. With next year’s polls just 103 days away, the presidential candidate believes restructuring is critical to solving some of the nation’s challenges. He explained that restructuring entails getting governance closer to the people by u
